Our sports medicine team is dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of athletic and other injuries. We have the only fellowship trained sports medicine physicians in the greater Bangor area and the support staff to help you get back to your activities quickly and safely. Our Surgeons are trained in the areas of arthroscopic minimally invasive surgery, ligament reconstruction, cartilage repair, and soft tissue repair. These techniques are applied to the major joints of the body including the wrist, elbow, shoulder, hip, knee and ankle. Our in house physical therapy staff will also ensure that your rehabilitation proceeds as expected. While these principles are often applied to athletes, they are also utilized to treat workplace and non-sport related injuries. In addition to their clinical excellence, our physicians also provide sideline and event coverage in the Bangor area. They are the official orthopedic surgeons of the University of Maine Black Bears and Husson University as well as multiple local high schools.
