Missa received her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Husson College in 2004. She has worked in a variety of settings, including: hospital based acute care, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, traveling OT and outpatient orthopedic settings.
She joined Down East Orthopedics in 2007 treating a wide variety of orthopedic issues for the upper extremity including post-surgical rehabilitation for fractures, tendon injuries, nerve injuries, amputations and splinting. She also sees clients for conservative care for repetitive use syndromes, arthritic conditions and energy conservation education including adaptive equipment/assistive device recommendations as needed.
